If you use Microsoft Outlook as your e-mail client, accented or special characters may not display correctly in the e-mail invitation for the selected language. To display special characters correctly, open your Outlook e-mail client and follow the instructions below for the version of Outlook you are using.
Outlook 2007
From the Outlook menu, select Tools – Options – Mail Format – International Options.
Under Internet Protocols, select Enable UTF-8 support for mailto: protocol.
Click OK.
Outlook 2010, 2013 and 2016
From the Outlook menu, select File – Options – Advanced.
Under International options, select Allow UTF-8 support for the mailto: protocol.
Click OK.
